I purchased this razor to take on long international flights so I could arrive looking almost human. It worked. I doubt the Evo Shaver would make a good everyday razor, but for travel or to keep in a desk or car to clean up 5 o'clock shadow it's excellent. Very small, but does a good job--or at least one that's satisfactory for what I use it for. One final point: I suspect some reviewers who mentioned their Evo arrived DOA, failed to hold down the on button for the required 5 seconds or so to get it out of travel mode and start. Once running, to put it back into travel mode so it won't turn on accidently one just again presses the on/off button for about 5 seconds.

Would have used it every day, not just for travel. Liked the small size. As it was, I threw the razor in the garbage and accepted the lost financially. That's how disgusted I was.

It's amazing to me, who have been using electric shavers for over 70 years, how effortlessly this little device shaves me in just three or four minutes. And the shave is close! I can now retire my bulky Norelco and keep this little handful with me wherever I go. It charges off my iPhone charger and cleans in a few seconds. So far, I've been using it for three days on the original charge and it's still ready to go! Fantastic what technology can do. (P.S. I got one as a gift for my son-in-law.)

I bought one of these from it's original crowd funding on another site. For me it's a pretty decent shaver, bought mostly for traveling. The blade is pretty good, but don't expect a super close shave. Battery life is ok, but bring a cable JIC. The only thing I don't like is only the blade is h20 proof, so no in the shower shaves. Also DON'T use on your "junk" or you'll regret it!

Its what you would expect... works for me (but I have thin/fine hair, and not too much facial hair) -- its slower than just using a Razor -- lasts for about 30min on a charge, but doesn't work with all usb cables... Besides the price, the fact you can damage the battery by charging > 1.5hrs is concerning (from the manual).It's really nothing more than a motor+cheap-battery/charger+screen-cutting-hair-thing. It probably costs $2-3 to make, should sell for $9 NOT $29.TL;DR:Works as advertised; Vastly overpriced should be more like $7-9 for what you're getting material-wise

I bought this shaver as a gift for my brother, and he is impressed with the performance of it.

I was nervous about buying this based on other reviews. I bought this for camping, weekends trips, and international travel. I've used it for over a week now and I think it's really good for these occassions. It's not as fast as my regular Norelcro but for these situations it's perfect. It does take longer to shave so it's not ideal for everyday use, but it's perfect when you don't want to carry a large razor. The initial charged lasted around 6 days.

I have a $60 Norelco shaver which works perfectly at home but too big and heavy for traveling light. I've had several vibrating shavers that cut well but are very noisy and not much lighter. I got a Norelco 2-headed travel shaver that's light, cuts well, but requires 2 AA batteries. I wanted a tiny USB-C rechargeable and the EVO seemed the ticket. It is well-made, very light, and the quietest I've used. But it misses a LOT of hairs despite light, firm, or rotating touch. After 3 days use, I had many 1/4" long hairs that were impossible to trim. Returning home, I instantly removed the long hairs with the Norelco travel shaver. The photo above shows why: the EVO screen holes are EXTREMELY small, whereas the Norelco has long slots. In addition the EVO has 1 one screen with 4 blades and the Norelco has 2 smaller screens with a total of 30 blades. If EVO redesigns the screen to shave better I'll be the first to try!
