I'd never seen or heard of a butter keeper until a couple of weeks ago when I was just browsing Amazon and this popped up. I love it.Holds enough butter to last a couple of days in my house. I think I will probably buy another to alternate. I have found that when there is only a small amount of butter it will slide out. It needs good pressure to create suction and small bits can't get enough pressure/suction. I imagine that small amounts of butter will stick better when the butter is very soft in summer. I haven't used it with water yet. It's winter and my kitchen is not cold.I put it through the dishwasher and found that water collected inside the lid. It had seeped through the small air hole. I just placed the hole over a folded sheet of kitchen roll and the water drained out. I'm going to have to experiment with placement in the dishwasher or hand wash. Not a hardship.

Bin sehr zufrieden. Funktioniert einwandfrei. Einfach weiche Butter reinstreichen (ca. 150 g), Kaltes Wasser ins Unterteil und Oberteil drüber. Butter ist immer schön streichfähig und schmeckt einwandfrei.

Je suis ravie de mon achat, qui, outre le fait qu’il soit un beurrier à eau comme je le souhaitais, est très beau. Ce qui ne gâche rien☺️
