The Raveneye locks into the gimbal very easily. It does require a few cables going to and from the camera/gimbal/Raveneye. Transmits the video to your phone very well and easily (will need the Ronin app)

The media could not be loaded. A total game changer, the new Active track it nothing less than amazing. Dji made a good choice on the one.

Need to jump through hoops to connect and then it dont bluetooth then wifi then bluetooth on again

I have had significant problems connecting this to my phone. The signal is intermittent and inconsistent. When I can connect it, I cannot shoot using this at anything over 60 fps. I wish I had not purchased, it has been a complete waste of money that would have been much better spent elsewhere.

It is very difficult to connect via WiFi the smartphone does not see it.. I tried several different smartphones, none of them were able to detect RavenEye. Only the old Samsung Galaxy S2 saw it, but the Android there is so old that it is impossible to install the DJI application.I partially found the solution on the channel of an Italian Youtube bloger, but the connection with Wi-Fi periodically drops, and this procedure has to be performed again.Also, when you swipe to the right, there is no image from the camera/transmitter on the Ronin RS3 screen. Instead I get a black screen

Spare yourself the anger. This is a poorly thought out product. You can get better transmitters for the same $$. I got it with the pro and wish I hadn’t because there is nothing pro about it. For one you can only connect a single phone or tablet to it. So there goes the idea of having one person operate and on other pull focus or have the director watch the feed from it. Nope can’t do that. Second it turns off the Ronin app, so you need a phone and a tablet or two phones to even run the gimbal. Third it connects to the same port as the LIDAR unit does, so you can only use nonsense or the lidar but not both. It’s just an unbelievably poorly thought out unit. It also sucks a good amount of power. No way you get 12 hours in a Ronin RS3 handle. I’d say more like 4 hours and that was just during testing, getting that thing to work, where the motors didn’t have to do anything. I have Ed tried it but there is a unit from Accsoon for around the same price that’s got a similar size and is meant for more devices. I think that’s probably a better buy if you are considering this.
