Our dog destroys any toys we get him, he is unable to put a dent on this. The down side is he tries to get the treats for a few minutes then gives up. But its super durable.

Very durable. My puppy is eating and an aggressive chewer. The Kong bone keeps my puppy engaged, with or without treats.

Bought for my very chew happy Labrador, she has a Kong Extreme ball that is still fully intact after almost a year. This was a replacement for her Kong goodie bone that has been completely devoured over the last few months, as soon as I got it out of the packet I could tell it wasn’t Kong Extreme, I could squish the rubber which you can’t do with her ball. Within a day she’d torn chunks out of this bone. It’s Kong (probably) but it’s definitely not Kong Extreme. It says “for Extreme chewers” on the packaging, but that’s as far as it goes. I should have sent it back, but my dog had already got hold of it, which is probably what they’re banking on. I’ve attached a photo so you can see it after 2 weeks of chewing. I’ll be buying from pet shops from now on to ensure I’m getting what I pay for.

I love Kong for the quality and have used different sized kongs for my dogs for years. However, this Kong bone is not good for big dogs despite being the black "extreme" version. I have an Irish setter x pointer who admittedly does have a large mouth and a lot of strength. Within half hour it was in two halves. Not sure whether the design is the best as it's/was! very very flexible in the middle and not that thick. Shame as he loved it

Having a Springer Spaniel that destroys toys quicker than Amazon can deliver them, so glad to finally find hebhas met his match with the Kong Black range. The red ones he nibbles pieces off within hours. The Black so far so good, only thing is he seems to be bored of it as he can't destroy it.Solid, robust, good for treat insertion and great when frozen with peanut butter in it - HellHoumd lives it.

Bought the bone for my 6 month old German Sheperd puppy who likes (but not loves) the toy. Good to give her something different to chew on. She normally destroys most toys but this has stood the test of time. The bone is nice and chunky and can be thrown around. I would recommend this for an agressive chewer. Knocked off 1 start as it is a bit expensive for what it is.

Bought for my 1 year old German Shepherd for his Birthday, I stuff it with treats and he spends hours chewing away on it, he carries it around the house with him and the garden.He's hammered this chew toy and there are no signs of damage.Highly recommended.
