Well folks if you want instant gratification don't purchase this. I'm 62 and ride just fine. As a kid 57 yr ago I started riding my grandfather's steel hard wheel scooter. Now it had to be shared amongst my 4 cousins and 3 sisters. I have 7 grand kids 5 have scooters 10 to 4 yr old. I live on the corner with alot of sidewalk, two trips from the driveway down a slight hill around a short retaining walled corner up slightly across the front to the short retaining wall and back one fall at the corner and I remembered....just like surfing BEND YOUR KNEES, LEAN BACK SLIGHTLY and all is well. I explained that to the kids and in 5min they were riding and coasting like they knew what to do. Instant gratification well maby IF YOU DO THE MAINTENANCE EVERY 2ND DAY OF RIDING. this is NOT a stunt scooter like the kids have. You NEED TO CHECK ALL FASTNERS constantly because of the vibration or it will come apart, this is COMMON SENSE. This scooter has low clearance to keep in mind, if you hop it will bottom out, if you turn and lean to much it will scrap the side. This is a great scooter to ride if you use common sense. Sofar I have ridden it maby 5mi total with the kids this past week and all has been tight when checking, oh a few screws need a tweaking to go back solid but with the vibration it is expected. Have fun with it...I Do.

My son loves this scooter although I find that the bourd were you place your foot on is cinda small but for my son it's perfect fit.It came ready assembled besties for titening and screwing on the kick stand which does not take long at all especially when it comes with all the equipment you need as a rench, screws.The brake is very sturdy brake which I find very safe for my son and the springs make it go right on the sidewalk making the bumps not flip the scooter.So over the scooter is sturdy rides great and does the job.

I got this scooter initially to get around the neighborhood on short trips, when I rarely used it. One month ago, I started using it to get around campus. it fit in the back of my car, and was easy to get out, and could bring it around without any added hassle. On friday, while scooting up a gentle hill on a sidewalk, the tiller separated from the board, and I hit the pavement. I weigh around 195 lbs, and this is unacceptable. If I was 140 lbs, it would probably be fine, but this scooter isn't designed for regular use anywhere close to the weight limit, and they should change their advertising and hopefully help those who had these break.

Weight limit on the description does not match what the scooter itself says. The ad says 265lbs and the scooter says 220lbs.Seems super sturdy, but I always try to be under max capacity, and the ad for this on Amazon is not true.It hasn't been ridden outside yet. Update after that happens.

This little guy is the best spent $80 I’ve done in a long time. Super easy to assemble , easy to attach stand support and shoulder strap. Make sure you tighten the safety wing nut on the frame, it will rattle off, - mine did!!! Oh I almost forgot, it is really fast. Tires are a dream on cobble stone with the shock system taking the hardest hit!!!

Bought this for an 8 yr old who is tall for his age. Much better than the cheap ones in the stores. This should last awhile . He really likes it.

I love my scooters now, but the instructions for the little bit of put together that there is, are terrible. Like worse than IKEA, and you really need to tighten everything and we had to oil one of the kick stands to get it to work. We also, ordered 2 of these and one of them came broken and had to be exchanged. It was supposed to be brand new, but it look like it was returned one. Once we got the replacement it was totally fine. So, it's a 3 from all the hassle in the beginning, but once together they are fabulous.

This is a great scooter with nice shock absorption. I’m 230# and it seemed to handle me fine so my kids will have no issue using it to get to the school bus on time. Took me all of 5 minutes to assemble and it rides smooth (that’s what she said).

Great quality and great fun, harder than it looks though! Its pretty well made although one of the springs holding a popper button thing in place detached inside the pole - it took a bit of imagination to figure out how to get it back into place but no issues since then. I love it!
