I am an Early Childhood Special Education teacher. I was worried when I purchased this that I was going to get a bunch of workbooks. No way! These books are stories first! I think my students are going to love having them read aloud. There is a helpful Teacher Guide included.

We are having a lot of fun with this set. It has really helped solidify concepts of nouns and verbs, etc for my 2nd grader who was struggling.

I simply adore these sets from Scholastic. I have used the Alphatales series. The Grammar Tales series don't disappoint either. I love the way the stories are simple yet effective. They give the opportunity to expand on your lessons in a fun and gentle way. The teaching guide is a great resource to use to get the most out of the books.

I taught older elementary students, and English learners. Our state no longer offers grammar materials. I was glad to have something to hold the students' attention.

I used this grammar set in another school district. Now I teach in a multilevel classroom. It was great receiving this product to use again. The silly stories and follow up activities are fun for students.

We liked the Phonics Tales and the Alphabet Tales, so we picked up the grammar tales. But these were not in the same style. There were a lot of pop ups that taught you concepts on the page and the story ran along the bottom of the page. It made it feel disjointed and did not flow. I may use the book just to read the stories and point out where certain grammar appears. Also a few topics seem redundant to the punctuation tales.
