Price / value quality
Even better than expected for the price. The case quality and measurement precision is comparable to a very expensive Long Acre tool or similar. Been using it for more than a year and batteries are still alive, working well and precise.

Works great, zeros and reads easily!
I am an adhesives engineer and often need to measure the hardness of soft things like rubber or foam. The Gain Express Shore A tester is everything I could hope for:1) It comes with a nice protective case for travel and transportation2) It is powered by a common size watch battery3) It zeros easily and stays zeroed for a long time4) It is highly repeatable compared to the old analog testersI spent the last week testing cast urethane rubbers which are somewhere between 50 and 80 A hardness, and it clearly helped me identify undercured material. The tool saved me a bunch of analysis time and was a bargain price, considering how nice it is.

Accuracy unknown
Seems to work but I question just how accurate it really is.

Worth the price.
Works perfectly.

Surprisingly accurate
Bought this as a quick comparison and quality check on some plastic parts I make for sports use. I have been using a very high tech tester at work and this is within +/- 2 from it. For the price this thing is much better than I ever expected.

Fast, accurate, and cheap!
Agrees nicely with a traditional analogue dial durometer. Verified against durometer test blocks and results were very accurate till around 40A, below that accuracy was still good enough. Nice fast readings, viewing angle for the LCD kind of sucks though.
