Game changer
As we age our skin becomes thin and if we bump something it is prone to tearing and even sliding away. Lots of blood and burns like heck. Scaring is also a problem. The bandages are perfect just moved the skin back in place apply the bandage note the bandages have small holes so that the shin can heal. Blot the blood and let the bandage do its job. I have showered with the bandage with no problem. They stay on until you remove them. Scaring is minimal.

Best second skin proctors
With a 2inch square of skin torn from my forearm. I need a second skin covering to allow for the healing ,without adhesive irritation. This product is unbelievable. . Applies easily and did a the job .Rather expensive but so worth it.

LOVE Mepitel One!
Mepitel One has worked so well in aiding my grandfather's leg wounds to get better...quicker. The transparency allows you to see progress. The holes allow oxygen in, as well as allow for generous application of bacitracin to sit right where it's needed. We usually change the dressing every 3-4 days. So much more healing progress in less time than using a traditional covering. Note: the leg wounds we treated were a result of leg edema (symptom of congestive heart failure).

a new approach to bandaging
It's not what I thought it would be, but I'll try it anyway.. I had forgotten the exact name of the woundbandage that I had bought previously, and got something I hadn't used before.. The one I previously used was thick , and had some pink color, and absorbs a lot of stuff from the wound, and can be left in place for 4 or 5 days or more... doesn't stick to the wound. Can't remember the Name.. but it's well known.
