They are sharp enough without snagging hair. I'm into playing with hair for a hobby. I take care of trimming my hair, my kids and my best friend. These feel like they will last me a good few years of haircuts.I've been through a few different pairs, I'm pleased with these, especially at the price, good deal.PS.. Not paid for my opinion. Just wanted to help you decide if they are worth it...

good hair shears
gets the job done. i trim my own hair & split ends with them. wish they were a little more sharp but i can always sharpen them.

Flat “points” like _ that! Not suitable for everything.
Didn’t realize they were not actually pointed, rather the “point” had a straight edge. I gave them to my husband for his mustache.

Only buy if your gonna use them--they look nice though
Scissors are ok but they are put away somewhere & I never use them--use my old scissors so there again guess I didn't need these
