5 Stars – Perfect Gift for My Wife!
I bought the Singer M1500 for my wife, and she absolutely loves it! The machine is super easy to use, even for beginners, and it has all the essential features she needs for her sewing projects. The stitch quality is excellent, and it runs smoothly, making her sewing experience so much more enjoyable. The design is compact but sturdy, and it doesn’t take up much space, which is a bonus in our home. She’s already made several beautiful items with it, and the versatility of this machine is fantastic. It’s a great value for the price, and I’m so glad I got it for her. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable, user-friendly sewing machine!

Singer does not disappoint
If you've sewn in high-school, then you shouldn't have any problems. So easy to set up and use. If you've never seen before then this is the perfect machine for you. It does come with some instructions and access to a video for instructions on use. In my opinion whether you are new to sewing or a pro, this is a great machine that is easy to transport, easy to set up and very user friendly. Happy sewing y'all

Great deal!
This Singer model sewing machine it's so quiet that you don't hear it running while it's operating. It's very smooth and simple to use. I would recommend this machine tool a beginner or a professional. Clear instructions and images are included. I save my instructions just in case I ever need to troubleshoot.

Great little machine for beginners and small projects
I haven't used a sewing machine since 7th grade Home Ec. but found online reviews suggesting this one for beginners. I've made three small lap blankets and a few pillows and have had no issues. Threading the needle and filling a bobbin is easier than I expected but might take a few tries. The thickest I've sewed is a 3 layer blanket (two layers of fabric, batting in the center) and it worked perfectly fine. I did snap a needle, but it was from 4 or so overlapping layers at a corner so I don't blame the machine.I've tried the first four stich settings and they all came out great. Back stitching also works well.I don't know where all these reviews are coming from about jamming. If you're machine is jamming you're probably threading the machine wrong or are somehow misusing it. The manual is on Singers site and there's official YouTube tutorials. What does come in the box directions-wise is a visual guide on how to thread the needle and wrap a bobbin. If you're planning on opening an etsy shop or doing heavy fabrics, this machine probably isn't for you. But if you're just starting out or are sticking to simple projects this is a great first machine.

The Bobbin Continually is a PROBLEM. Good for batting practice though.
I've had the same Singer since 1985. It was easy to use and very reliable. Then it broke and was not worth repairing. I've had this new machine for four months, and I am so done with it!! It freezes up and I end up with multiple threads coming out of it, or all kinds of loops of thread inside the bobbin case. I took it in to a Joann store. They didn't have a repair person there but two separate people told me the case must be wobbly. I used a screw driver to tighten the screws. They were a little loose. But, no, the problem still exists. So frustrating because I have several pieces I need to work on right now, and I've got to find a repairman. Don't buy this machine.

A gift for my daughter.
This is my daughter's first sewing machine and of course she may feel a little overwhelmed now, but I think this Singer machine will speed her learning along very well.
