Either no one knows to test these, or they got a different cords. For one thing, they're an actual 8-1/4 inches in cable length, the boot and plug take these to 11 inches. The cable cannot possibly be Cat6,, the twist is ALL wrong, barely the equivalent of Cat3. Finally, and this is why I love these companies, the speed claim is impossible with the structure to begin with: tested with a Fluke Reporter, I can't get more than 340 MPS to pass through even at 11 total inches, which is right at Cat 5E. These would be a lousy Cat 5E cable let alone a Cat 6. This is a Do Not Buy. Now to see if the seller has honest-enough bones to grant me a credit.

Havent tried it yet. Just opened the package and it smells like someone dumped an entire container of perfume in with the cable! It instantly made my eyes water and throat close up. Threw away the packaging outside, took the cable downstairs and the room still reeks of perfume. Not good for someone with a sensitivity to strong fragrances!

Try to plug it in, then try to unplug! it is a nightmare ! this thing gets sucked in like there is a demon holding for his life inside! I push the release pin and this thing is not going anywhere! It does not get out! I was about to break the plug to get it out! if this was connect to my lap, i would have turned it into my desktop!I do not recommend it!

The cable is of high quality, the boot (the housing at the ends) is done well and the cable does what is expected to do. The only complaint I might have is the price point for the small cables (2ft), that while they could be considered "specialty" they still quite expensive in comparison to others. I really thought there would be two cables, my mistake for assuming that. Overall, is a good high-quality item that I would recommend if you need ethernet cables for your high-speed internet connection

The cables appear to be made well and all cables worked properly.They were the correct length but seem to a bit thin compared to other Cat6 cables I've purchased.One thing to note, I bought the red cables and from the pictures, they're a vibrant and dark red. The cables I received look very faded, almost an orange. I also ordered the orange cables so I'm confident they weren't just labeled incorrectly, the color is just off.

Ok so my internet people “cas cable” said the WiFi should get me 900mbps and then I did a speed test and was only getting 20, so i called them back up and they told me I needed to hard wire it in got 2 of these with a splitter on the way. But ran these bad babies under the house the other day and now we are getting 950+ on 1 gig limit so I’m very happy

The headline pretty much says it all. I have established a color scheme to quickly distinguish which of my two LANs a given cable is part of (orange and purple - Go Hokies!) and switched to all Cat 6 cabling. These guys usually have my colors and desired lengths in stock or ship within a few days.

These are nice little cables however... They are not CAT6. The connector is definitely not alternating per the spec. These are more likely to be CAT5e.
