The Pirouette Board is an excellent tool to help dancers learn how to turn. Many people actually don’t like these kinds of boards but let me tell you why this one is so great. First, the design. It’s slick on the bottom, which makes it easy for the board to spin on the dance floor. It has thick padding lining the top of the board providing maximum comfort and grip for your foot. Second, this board is ideal for helping dancers find their center and learn to spot easily. The second your body is not properly aligned, you will tip over. Start slow with one or two turns to understand how it works and test your alignment. Last, this board is designed for beginning, intermediate or advanced dancers! The main reason I hear negative things about boards like this is that it doesn’t teach you how to turn on releve. This one does! Because of the padding on this board, it’s comfortable to go into releve and stay there. This is for the more advanced dancers once they’ve mastered doing it on flat without falling over. My daughter, in the video, is known at her studio for her turns. She can whip them out like no ones business. However, when she went on releve, she was only able to do 3 turns without falling over. Not because her foot hurt, but because her alignment was slightly off. Something she never realized she was doing prior to using this board. Overall, if you’re in the market for a turning board, I highly recommend the Zenmarkt Pirouette Board! And it comes in a nice velvet carrying/storage case too so you can practice your turns anywhere!

This is a very useful item that your athlete will not outgrow. It's also lightweight and convenient to carry around so your athlete can bring it with them wherever they want and practice on it anywhere they want. My daughter uses it to help her develop her turns for gymnastics. In doing this, it helps build her core strength and balance, which also makes her a stronger competitive rock climber. I am so glad that I discovered this tool for her as it's one of those items that I never knew she couldn't live without until she had one. Turning on the beam has been a challenge for her from the beginning. She lacked confidence and didn't understand how to tighten her center and turn without throwing her body around. Since she has been using this, she has learned the right way to turn and built her confidence on these skills for the beam and the floor. It's made me so happy to see her enjoy turning on the beam now instead of dreading it.

I got one of these for my daughter who is a gymnast. You may wonder why since nobody is spinning around on the gym floor but actually the board is great for improving overall balance and helping to build up those core muscles. She loves it because it does not feel like practice or work at all. She just thinks its super fun. I would encourage folks with an athlete in the family to think outside the box as far as work out "tools" and give this board a try. The quality and price are right on target as well. I am super happy with it!

My little ballerina loves this board and so her classmates. I would recommend it to any kid that likes to twirl, my daughter was born with low muscle tone and this is one of the reasons she takes ballet; this board has helped her with her core strength and balance.

These turning boards are pretty neat, my daughter uses it to pra tice straight leg turns. I was a tad disappointed after I purchased to see one almost identical for a few bucks cheaper.....but oh well. This one did come in a mice little velvet draw string bag, which was s plus.

I purchased this turning board for my 10 year old grand daughter who has taken ballet for about 6 years now. There was a delivery delay (post office mistake) so she has only had it for 2 days but she assured me it is “absolutely fantastic!”. She does spin very well on it and I think it’s giving her even more confidence in her twirls. Two thumbs up !!

These spinners are an alternative for figure skaters to practice off-ice. This one is especially well built and easily supports my 173 lbs. Also doesn't appear to mark either my kitchen linoleum or my 98 year old wood floors.Does what it's supposed to do

Daughter loves this turning board. It’s very well made. The top is very soft on her feet, and the bottom doesn’t scratch my wood floor. Daughter is super happy that her turns are getting better and I’m super happy that I don’t need to worry about my floor. Definitely I would recommend to any dancer/ gymnist learning or working on turns.
