Couldn't be more pleased.
I couldn't be more pleased with this (500gm.) test weight.I have 4 scales, from 4 different manufacturers, that have maximum weight ranges from 2kg. to 50 lbs.Of the 4, 3 read EXACTLY 500gm. with this weight, the 4th one vacillates between 499-500gm.This only confirms what I already knew.It came in a plastic bag, double-wrapped in foam, double-wrapped in butcher paper.The little box it came shipped in was a little beat up - the weight is spotless.This is a great deal, regardless of the price.I will be buying more from this company.

Very accurate weight and customer service on steroids
The accuracy of the weight was exactly as advertised. Also, this company's customer service proved to be one of the best I had ever experienced during my 54 years as an Electronics Engineer. I would not hesitate to purchase any of the products offered by this company, and would even go out of my way to recommend to my associates with the US Navy that they put this company at the top of their list for consideration.

it's what I needed at the time, but when you can find whole sets for only slightly more money, it would be nice if it came with something to store it in.

Not good for a scale measuring to the hundredth of a gram
Bought it hoping I could calibrate my scale that goes to the hundredth (.01) of a gram but this weight is a little over 500G.

I needed this for a 500 g scale that did not come with a weight for calibration. It did the job perfectly fine.
