Excellent lamp! Economical, high-quality, does exactly as is advertised, I’m very pleased.

We straightened the entire lamp and measured from the floor to the tip top because I knew when I opened the box and took out the pieces that it would be shorter than advertised. We measured 58 inches tall total and it's supposed to be a little over 62 inches. I'm using this for my plants so I'll need to sit it on something but it's still a nice lamp....Decent price too. These are hard to find like this. I am ordering another one because I'm using these with grow lights for many house plants. I would prefer them to be the height they are advertised...UPDATE-I had purchased another as these are difficult to find. E26 (I believe it is) socket…I am using these mainly with 20 watt full-spectrum grow light bulbs for houseplants. So far so good. I love them. But I feel that the description was misleading and that they’re shorter (shouldn’t include length from left to right of the actual lamp part with shade because it doesn’t pivot straight up from its axis to add that extra (height). So, I’ve measured with a metal carpentry tape measure at 58.5 inches and with a seamstresses soft tape measure at 58.5 inches high, as well, from floor to top edge of lamp shade when standing straight with lamp part out straight horizontally. This is shorter than the listed height. I’m going to re-read this description yet again… Can sit the lamp base on a crate or something if more height is needed so not end of the world. For this price, I definitely would say it’s a great buy regardless of less height than I expected.

Great lamp. Perfect height for readings in my recliner. It’s heavy base keeps it steady; fully adjustable and made with quality material with an excellent bronze finish; and the switch on the cord is at the perfect height to easily turn on and off from my seated position. All this for a really low price.

I needed something to go behind the love seat and cast a soft light over the top so I could read better when I don't want the rest of the lights on in the room. I didn't want something that was going to light up the whole area. This is perfect. I used a clear 40 watt warm light bulb instead of a 60 watt bright light. It sits low enough and shines a warm light only on the love seat area, down onto what I'm reading or writing. Perfect.It took less than 5 minutes to put it together and it's good quality.

Great lamp for the low price i thought it would be cheap and flimsy but it it’s pretty sturdy quality materials and looks great!

I bought two lamps but one didn’t come with the extension pole but it’s working fine for table lamp.
