Better varieties of tonics on the market - give this a miss
Being a frequent weekend drinker with a busy work schedule I thought it was time to try something new that wouldn't leave me with a 3 day hangover. In summary, I'm sorry I bothered. The box for my 3 spirit drink arrived nicely packed in shredded brown paper. Holding it above my head to the light and looking through the dark glass I could see a dimly glowing mixture welcoming me in. Alas it was a Thursday and having work at 7am the next day I decided to hold off given the promised effects of feeling "A little floaty and flirty from damiana, tulsi and cacao that combine to lift spirits and reduce inhibitions. After three doses, you'll be the life and soul of the party."Saturday afternoon arrived so enough however and I had a BBQ planned. Finally no more hangovers I thought as I lifted the dark bottle down from my shelf and cracked open the seal. I tentatively poured out a shot into a tall shot glass and admired the dark pond water appearance. I then sniffed it and enjoyed the unusual aniseed aroma and drank it in one. The taste wasn't completely unpleasant, it was somewhere between sambucca that has been sitting in the sun for a while and prune juice but neither the less it wasnt great either. I continued to set up the bbq awaiting social excitement and lower inhibitions but after 10 mins decided that perhaps I needed to meet the recommended 3 doses so went back and drank 2 more shots.Half an hour later my friends began to arrive and I proclaimed I'd found the answer to our hangover problems proudly showing them my new bottle. Noone else wanted to try it. But knowing genius isn't always appreciated in its time I stuck to my guns having another 2 shots along with a burger. Eventually I felt a little upbeat - im not sure if it was the fact I was over half a bottle deep or a placebo given the sum of money I paid. So I took another shot for good measure.Unfortunately by 7 pm my friends were certainly much more merry than me so I decided it was time to finally call this experiment to an end and go and buy another tonic. Buckfast tonic wine it was called. As soon as that juicy nectar hit my tongue I rapidly became the life and soul of the party. The very effect I had been trying to achieve for the last 6 hours. And at a fraction of the price. Perhaps the Benedictine monks have divine intervention on their side - Im sad to say three spirits do not. Thanks for the experience guys but won't be trying again

Amazing with ginger beer
I personally loved this and did even feel a little effect. Had the flu and following a couple of these had the energy to play with the kids for a bit.The apple cider vinegar is quite strong though, so a warning if you don't like vinegar.Side note: I suffer from reflux quite bad and this drink calmed it unexpectedly.

Product as expected but let down by lazy delivery
In typical Amazon delivery fashion the item was just left on the doorstep without our knowledge because the driver couldn’t be bothered to knock before driving away.

Really nice with ginger ale and gave me a buzz
This was delicious, very curious flavour with nice bittersweet baked apple and fig flavour. I had it with ginger ale and was really tasty, definitely gave me a buzz after 3 drinks

Ok
I had really high hopes for this as I’ve tried a number of non alcoholic spirits and had been waiting to get this one for a while, but sadly, this didn’t hit the mark at all.Okay taste but absolutely nothing special and I didn’t feel any effects of the herbs or botanicals as advertised. Really disappointed to be honest especially as it’s not on the lower end of things in terms of price for similar things. The branding and packaging is lovely, that’s it though!May appeal more to others but personally, I won’t be finishing the bottle or buying more.

Zingy and herbal
I found the blend of flavours pleasantly 'planty', mixed with either lemonade or ginger, with ice. There is a slight zing to it, which may be in part the cider vinegar. However, despite trying a double measure, it had no noticeable effect on anyone who drank it. The only comment I could make is that I had florid dreams afterwards, which wasn't something I would wish to repeat.
