I liked Dr. Seuss when I was reading to my daughters over 40 years ago. I forgot how ADHD they are! One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish makes my head spin, but it sure keeps my grandson's attention - until he passes out, probably because of all the characters. Great books for readers and little listeners.

Love the Berenstain Bear books! I loved them as a child, and the 3 1/2 year-old I babysit loves them! I volunteer in 2nd and 3rd grade classes, and they love them as well. There is a boy and a girl character, which makes it good for both boys and girls, and because they are animals, all ethnicities can relate.
