Well made solid and tough build inspires confidence. Can be handheld at a pinch especially when mounted on a pistol grip (£10 or less on Amazon) but best rested on a suitable branch, fence etc to minimise vibration. Good optical quality for the price and ideal for nature/bird watching when hiking, out in the countryside etc and wanting a nearer view than binoculars offer without the bulk and weight of carrying a full blown spotting scope. A useful purchase that I have had good use out of.

Fabulous piece of kit. The magnification and angle of view are ideal for getting really clear , close up images of Robins, etc on my bird feeder from a distance of about 4 metres. Really clear, crisp image quality. Due to my own short comings and not those of the kit itself, there is a little "shake" on the image , but I have found that this has been easily overcome by using the very small tripod which comes with it as a hand held grasp rather than as a tripod. Overall , I can thoroughly recommend this item.

This is great as a monocular , no problem with the quality. It simply does not work as a zoom lens for an iPhone - you just get a highly cropped black tunnel. Don't waste your time

Ok optics but had a few deformities in the rubberised body that don’t bode well for their quality control. That said it works ok if you can stop its eye pieces slipping over your glasses long enough to see through it.The problem is that at max zoom the internal aperture is quite narrow, and unlike binoculars where you only need to worry about keeping them vertically perpendicular to your line of sight you need to keep your angle right horizontally as well, and along with the low grip eyepiece skidding across your glasses it can make keeping it aligned with your sight line a challenge.If you do buy one, I'd recommend you buy a slip-on rubber eye piece as well.

This product was not compatible with my husbands or my phone, you could not line this up with the view finder on the phonesAll you saw was the inside of the monocularBad advertising, the photo shown on phone of the advertising obviously was not taken with the monocular attached .Used to view on its own il give it a 5 out of ten.

Bought has a gift but was well received .... speedy delivery ...... does exactly what is says ...

The product ordered was known to be in slightly damaged package when ordered. However when it arrived the smartphone adapter was missing. Amazon swiftly offered a discount as an apology.The scope does everything else it says it will.
