If the Rotring 600 is too skinny for you...
I was surprised by how much I like the rapid pro over the normal 600. The slightly thicker grip makes a world of difference when it comes to comfort over longer writing sessions. And for some reason, I feel like I can write faster with this pen, maybe due to the grippiness of the knurling and the weight distribution. Feels very good, great pen for Parker style refills, I would recommend this all day, everyday.

Grat writing tool
This is a solid, well-balanced pen that feels premium in the hand. Its full-metal body provides a satisfying weight without being tiring, and the knurled grip offers excellent control, even during extended writing sessions. The click mechanism is smooth and reliable, and the refill delivers consistent, dark ink with no skipping. While it's on the pricier side, it's a durable, professional-grade pen that's worth the investment for those who write regularly and appreciate quality design.

Did not disappoint.
I have the rapid pro black version and then opted fot the silver. I first tried the 600 pen as it was a few dollars cheaper, but it was smaller, lighter and seemed flimsy. The rapid pro silver had more weight and seemed better made. The barrel also allowed for a more comfortable grip, as the angles are less defined than the 600. Do note that some parts of the rapid pro pen have shiney, chrome finish. The 600 does not have any parts with a chrome finish.

Maybe the best ballpoint.
Best ballpoint I’ve ever owned. Would be fine if this were my last pen. Satisfied. Germans—do one thing better, the translation between the knurling and shaft needs refinement.

The perfect pen.
I bought this pen because I was tired of not having a good pen to fill out paperwork with. I came across Rotring and decided to give this one a try. This pen is the perfect size. I really like the weight and the knurling feels really good while writing. It's not bulky at all like most pens I've used. I paired this with a Fisher Space Pen fine blue refill (it fits without any modifications needed) and I think it's the best pen I've tried. Rotring is a German company but their pens are made in Japan. This is literally made by some of the world's best engineers. Stop browsing and buy it.

Amazing ballpoint pen but ...
This pen is a solid make, has good weight and very good body control. I absolutely love it, having used Rotring since 1976.It came with a really great cartridge with amazing ink flow for a ballpoint pen (Easy flow 9000), but the replacement cartridges I have bought on Amazon all seem to be duds or brand imitation garbage, meaning I can't use the pen anymore as much as I love it.Recommendations for a reputable dealers with PROPER CARTRIDGES would be appreciated.

Great pens!
I liked these so much I added them as a subscription item, so I’ll get a new pair every six months. I do tend to lose pens.

Best Pen I've Ever Used
As a millennial, I think I'm inclined towards stationary and writing utensils. When I was little, I loved going back-to-school shopping and getting pencils, pens, crayons, markers, Trapper-Keepers (later, Five Star binders), and notebooks. Since then, I've always loved getting new pens.I was in the market for a durable pen and had remembered reading an article on either ArsTechnica or The Atlantic a few years ago about rOtring. Upon reading the reviews here, I settled on the rOtring Rapid Pro ballpoint pen.The first thing that struck me was its heft. It's definitely heavier than other pens I've used but it feels sturdy in hand. The matte black finish on the aluminum and the knurled grip make it feel secure while I'm writing. This pen is a dream to write with. It flows smoothly over paper and makes my note taking a lot easier. Additionally, the ink doesn't smudge or smear, which is a problem I'd been having with my previous pen, a Pilot Dr. Grip.Overall, while expensive compared to other ballpoint pens, this is worth the cost if you take copious handwritten notes and want a pen that feels great in hand.
