Belmont Peanuts Artisan Chipotle & Sea Salt Gourmet Virginia Peanuts, 10oz

I really enjoyed these Peanuts. They were super crunchy, and large. The flavor was very good as well, but I wish the could of added a bit more seasoning to up the flavor a bit.....Not much there even after shaking the can.

I love truffle, so if you don’t like it or are unfamiliar with it you may not like these. Just saying. I had the opportunity to try these when I found them at a homegoods store in their food/snack section. I loved them but as many things there once they are gone it’s gone. Searching for them I found them on Amazon, however in a much larger size (can) and price. However, I did like them so much so that I purchased them. A little apprehensive because of cost they might be out of code, not be shipped well and or rancid. All of which didn’t happen. So, a bit more than what I would’ve paid for peanuts but a treat and worth it. Blue Dimond had truffle almonds and I used to buy those, but have not been able to find them even on Amazon so this is my alternate choice for now.

I love the nuts, keep them by my desk...I order a canister per month. HOWEVER something is wrong with the lids lately. I have received them with no lid or a lid that doesn't fit. Luckily I have a lid from an older container that I keep reusing on my new canisters. I feel bad for people that have to repackage them once opened because the canister lids don't work anymore. Hope they fix it soon. They would have all 5 star ratings once that happens. Because these are that good.

We LOVE the everything peanuts! We first tried them at a local store, but they stopped carrying them. They were also in a smaller size, so buying them in a larger quantity works out better for us.

The salt and pepper are very good.

So I bought a small can of these in a little gourmet food shop while on vacation. Sea salt and black pepper sounded delicious, and these nuts didn't disappoint. Seriously, the best peanuts I've ever had by far. Really wished I had purchased more but we were traveling at the time and that little gourmet shop was just a road stop for us.But when we returned home, I was excited to actually find them on Amazon... and in cans twice the size of the small can I originally purchased! Awesome! However when I opened the can, I was disappointed to discover that I could hardly taste the salt OR the pepper. What the heck happened? My wife suggested I shake the can in case the salt and pepper had settled. Sure enough, it helped some, but still had nowhere near the flavor of the original small can I bought. Still I ate them and decided to try ordering one more time hoping that maybe I just had a dud can. Well the third can was even worse. Very little salt and I couldn't taste any pepper at all. I shook the can and actually emptied it to try to get the tiny bit of seasoning in the bottom of the can to cover the peanuts... but it was no use.Maybe the smaller cans are packaged at a different facility or something? I don't know, but if you buy something that has sea salt and black pepper in the name, its because you like sea salt and black pepper and want to taste those ingredients. Sadly, these peanuts taste like plain unseasoned peanuts.

I really like the peanuts- I use them when putting together a charcuterie tray for a good salt and peppery item. I often take a handful for a quick snack. They are so good!
