The Hampton Helmet by Charles Owen 7 1/2

I have a long oval head and long face. My head measures 60cm and I thought a 61cm Hampton (7 1/2) would fit, but alas it sat atop my head and didn't fit. I couldn't get it down on my head. I am going to try a FIAN next because they seem to have a deeper fit. I know a bunch of riders who use the Hampton and love it. I think it's very pretty.The helmet I ordered from Gifted Horse is very beautiful and in pristine condition. My head is just not meant for a Hampton Charles Owen. I would recommend you view the fitting videos on the Charles Owen website before ordering so you can see the "fit expert" put a variety of Charles Owen helmets on a variety of peoples' heads.Very classic for the hunter and equitation rings and I think quite cute for jumpers too. Also if your head gets cold, this is a warm helmet.4 stars because it's exactly what I ordered. The lack of fit isn't the fault of Gifted Horse.

I haven't ridden in years but my choice of riding was bareback or western. I have to tell ya all I never wore a dang helmet. But if I did, it would of been this helmet I came across dumpster diving. ( Yeah, you heard right). The Hampton Helmet from Charles. I'm no expert but what a hell of a soft, comfortable well thought out and well made. I'm comparing it to all the others from most expensive to the cheapest and this helmet in my opinion wins hands down.
