S.M.S.L Audio Remote Control for SU-8 SH-8 AD18 Q5 Pro A6 DP1

The original remote control that came with my Q 5 Pro was absolute junk. The actual amplifier sounds fantastic but the remote worked maybe half the time and after about two months it didn't even work that often. I ordered this remote and waited the two weeks for it to arrive. It arrived and I put the batteries in and it worked perfect. I actually enjoy using this amplifier and use it way more often because I can actually control it now. Everything works as expected. The function button is what changes The Equalizer. This remote does everything the original remote does. When I was doing research on this remote I had trouble finding anything that verified my questions. It works perfectly. It uses AAA batteries. It's about the same size and feel as the fire stick remote. I get them confused in the evening times when it's a little dimmer in the room. All in all it was a fantastic purchase. It really made me appreciate the amp more than when I first got it. If you're having trouble with your remote for your Q5 pro, this is a fantastic option. They need to just include this remote when you purchase the unit. Even if they charge you $5 more it's still well worth it. Even though it's still sort of worked, the original remote went in the trash within one minute of using this one

Nothing exciting, but does what it should. Hard to get details from seller and others when asking questions, but I took a chance. It does work with my SA-50 plus amp like I hoped, even though it's not mentioned in the details.

Product came packaged weird, and required signature which was unusual. Other than that, no issues. No pairing required.
