I’ve bought 4 sets of these knives. They are perfect to start with, very sharp but that’s what you need. I would recommend buying gloves and tape so you don’t cut your fingers. Very nice set of knives.

I got this set for my dad and he loved it, he did say he ended up needed a few other tools not included along with wood that wasn't included. I'd say the value for money is good as long as you keep that in mind. It's great quality, durability and seems to have comfort in mind, super sharp and the perfect size. A great starter set.

Bought this for my son who is just learning to carve/widdle. After doing some research, discovered this is a great brand to start off with. Durable, but not very expensive. I figured if he really likes carving, then he can invest in more expensive tools. These seem to be very durable and well built.
